This is the final outcome of our trailer for the film synopsis Mr Oswick created. Our main aim throughout this task was to practise capturing enough footage with a variety of shots and angles. Due to the limited time we had, I think my group and I managed to do this quite successfully. We were also trying to include various locations as this is important when creating a trailer because it helps establish the storyline but also the progression of the actual film. As we were filming in school we tried taking advantage of the areas we had access to that would also fit in nicely with the chosen storyline.
Throughout this whole task I have learnt to make sure I check the footage thoroughly after leaving a location in case it doesn't work out as planned or more is needed. In addition to this, I learnt that I can always shoot the same clip in a variety of ways, for example different angles as I might find some more useful and fitting than other ones. This whole task was filmed on a school flip camera and tripod which is what I think I will be filming my final trailer on. However, because I am also a photography student, I will be able to borrow a digital Canon camera for the poster and magazine front cover part of my course work to ensure the best possible outcome and highest quality photographs as possible.
